I was fortunate enough to get a assignment abroad this summer. It allowed for my airfare to be paid for and my stay while I was on location so I decided to make it into a vacation. My boyfriend flew over at the end of my assignment in Ravello, Italy (on the Amalfi coast) and we spent a day there then continued on to Istanbul for 5 days and then to Prague where his parents are from and most of his extended family still resides. I bought a much sought after Fuji x100 for the trip and have to say it was the perfect accompaniment for all the travel. Small and light , it shot amazing photos comparable to film which I normally like to shoot for personal work. I found the black and white mode especially impressive. It has a fixed lens and that ended up being a bit wide for me at times but it is definitely a good addition to the collection.
